1) Agreement

These Terms govern your access to the website, emails, and related Services operated by Linguara Media Inc. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2) Eligibility

You must be 13+. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it.

3) Subscriptions & communications

Subscribing means you request the daily email and related messages. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email. We may send service notices even if you opt out of marketing.

4) Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Services. Prohibited actions include: copying or scraping at scale; interfering with security; reverse-engineering; using the Services unlawfully or to send unsolicited messages.

5) Educational content

Content is for educational purposes, not legal, medical, or other professional advice.

6) Intellectual property

All content (text, graphics, audio, design) is owned by Linguara Media Inc. or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use content for personal, non-commercial learning. Any other use requires our written permission.

7) User content

If you send exercise responses, comments, or testimonials (“User Content”), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display that content to operate and improve the Services, including anonymized examples in lessons or marketing, unless you request otherwise. You’re responsible for the content you submit.

8) Affiliate links & sponsorships

We may include affiliate links or sponsorships in posts or emails. We will clearly label such content, and if you purchase via a link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This disclosure complies with Canadian guidelines for endorsements.

9) Third-party tools & links

We may link to or use third-party services. We’re not responsible for their content or policies.

10) Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).

11) Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Linguara Media Inc. and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability will not exceed CAD $100 or the amount you paid to us in the 3 months before the claim, whichever is greater.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linguara Media Inc. from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or to protect the Services or users. You may stop using the Services at any time.

14) Changes

We may modify features or these Terms. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

15) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vancouver, BC.
